Gloucester Beaches  

Good Harbor Beach - Thatcher Road, Route 127A. Parking is $15 weekdays, $20 on weekends and holidays. Parking is limited so arrive early. Concession stand, restroom, showers.

Niles Beach - Located on Eastern Point Road. Parking is available for residents only, summer residents with stickers, or tourists with motel courtesy stickers.

Pavillion Beach - Stacy Boulevard (Route 127), Gloucester, Located just off of Stacy Boulevard, this beach is the location of the famous Fisherman Memorial Statue, and the greasy pole contest during St. Peter's Fiesta. Go for a swim and relax in the heart of Gloucester; this is a great beach for experiencing true Gloucester at its best.

Plumb Cove Beach - Located on Washington Street. Parking is available for residents only, summer residents with stickers, or tourists with motel courtesy stickers.

Cressy Beach and Half Moon Beach at Stage Fort Park - Hough Avenue at end of Route 133. Parking is $10 at all times. Small Beach with lifeguard, larger beach without lifeguard. Bathrooms, showers, concession stand.

Wingaersheek Beach - Atlantic Avenue, Gloucester - bathhouse, snack bar, parking, carry-in carry-out. This beach is notorious for its kid-friendly waters. The ocean, which is relatively warm for the North Shore, is always still. From its setting on Ipswich Bay, it offers a protected, gently sloping beach with a separate wading area at low tide. Beachcombers can walk almost to the harbor marker at low tide and reach the Annisquam River. View the boats meandering by on this beautiful beach along the Annisquam River and Ipswich Bay. There is a concession, rest rooms, and showers. Parking fee is $15 during the week per car; $25 weekends. Parking is limited so plan to arrive early.
